Yew Heng is Chief Executive Officer and serves as Executive Director of Singapore Shipping Corporation Limited.
As the CEO, Yew Heng is in charge of the overall management of the Group's business, including the areas of strategic development and evaluation of new business opportunities.
Yew Heng joined the Group since 2010. Prior to that, he was an analyst with the private wealth management advisory team at Deutsche Bank AG from 2008 to 2009.
Yew Heng holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology, Sydney where he majored in Accounting & Management.
Pansy graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts.
Pansy joined Singapore Shipping Corporation in 1998. During her career with SSC Group, she has been appointed as the CEO of Cougar Logistics and currently manages Singapore Shipping Agencies and Island Line. She also took up the position of Deputy Chief Operating Officer of the Group and in 2014, has been promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer of the Group.
Ms Ang is the CFO at Singapore Shipping Corporation Limited, responsible for overseeing financial reporting, treasury, investor relations, financial risk management and taxation matters of the Group. She also develops key business strategies together with the management team and executes the strategies through financial management. Prior to joining the Group, Ms Ang was Senior Finance Director with Singapore Telecommunications Limited where she was the lead Finance Business Partner for Enterprise Products, 5G and IOT, driving profitability and business performance. Over her career, Ms Ang had also acquired experience in real estate and infrastructure industries, where she dealt with mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, asset management and project financing and has more than two decades of experience in key financial and managerial roles. Ms Ang started her career in the Big four audit firms and left as an Audit Manager.
Ms Ang has a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from Nanyang Technological University and is a member of Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.
Mr. Leong holds a Diploma in Marine Engineering (Singapore Polytechnic) and Class 1 Marine Engineer Certificate.
Mr. Leong joined Singapore Shipping Corporation in 1984, working in his sea career as a Chief Engineer onboard the company's fleet of vessels. He progressively rose to the position of Fleet Manager under the Ship Management Division of SSC Group and is presently the General Manager for Ship Management, ensuring safe ship and crewing operations for the managed fleet.
Mr. Balan started his career at sea in 1978 and obtained his Master Mariner certification 9 years later. He left his sea career in 1989 and joined Singapore Shipping Agencies for his first shore-based job as a Port Captain. He was involved in the planning and overseeing of loading operations in the ASEAN region, and specialised in handling special project cargo. Since 2007, he has been the General Manager in charge of Agency and Terminal Operations responsible for smooth operations of over 100 vessels calling to port every month.
Irene holds a Diploma in Import/Export & International Trade and a Diploma in Sales & Marketing.
Irene joined Island Line as a Sales Executive in 2001, acquiring experience in both operations and sales to rise to the position of Business Development Manager. She was promoted in 2013 to be the Assistant General Manager of Island Line, overseeing the freight forwarding and warehousing operations.
